Jiu-Jitsu




Jiu-Jitsu is a self-defence discipline. It deals with attacks while standing as well as defensive and offensive ground fighting. This style of fighting was made popular by the success of Royce Gracie and Ken Shamrock in several Ultimate Fighting Championships.

At the Suitela Fitness and Self-Defence Centre, we combine grappling (ground fighting, wrestling) with several effective martial arts strikes eg. punches, palm strikes, kicks, knees and elbows.

This program is enjoyed by men and women alike. There is no prior experience necessary. Consistent training in this program will give you confidence to protect yourself without the use of weapons.You will get fit fast due to plenty of abdominal exercises and cardio vascular training.
